Spitfire Club
Spitfire Club offers a flexible service for parents and carers, allowing children to arrive at school earlier and remain after normal school hours.
Breakfast Club
Spitfire Breakfast Club offers a warm, welcoming and flexible service for parents and carers.
Places must be booked in advance via MCAS. If your child has not attended Spitfire Breakfast Club before, we kindly ask that you complete a registration form and return it to the school office. Once this is done, you will be able to make bookings through MCAS.
The club runs from 7:45am until the start of the school day, at a cost of £4 per session. Please note that children must be signed in by a parent or carer each day they attend.
The club is run by familiar Thornhill Primary School staff, who have excellent relationships with the children and know them well, helping to create a safe and reassuring start to the day.
Each morning, your child will be warmly welcomed and offered breakfast, which includes milk, cereals, toast and fruit. To ensure your child has time to enjoy breakfast, we ask that they arrive before 8:15am if they would like to eat.
After breakfast, children can enjoy a range of fun and engaging activities in the hall until the school day begins.
At 8:40am, children are supported as they transition into their school day. KS1 pupils are escorted safely to their classrooms, while KS2 pupils make their way independently.
